Sarah is a playwright, novelist, nonfiction writer and screenwriter. She is the author of 20 books. Her plays include Carson McCullers and Manic Flight Reaction (Playwrights Horizons); and the stage adaptation of IB Singer’s Enemies: A Love Story (Wilma.). Her work has been developed at La Jolla, The Goodman, The Cleveland Playhouse, New York Theater Workshop, The Vineyard, and Sundance, among others.
Honors include the Guggenheim Fellowship in Playwriting.
